Last week Mommy and Daddy closed on their house! So exciting! Mommy and Daddy were so thankful to have their amazing family and friends help them move (Mommy is a little useless when it comes to heavy-lifting these days).
Jr is *so* excited to have his big yard to rule over... and Mommy and Daddy are *so* excited that they don't have to make the hike up and down the three flights of stairs to take him out to exercise or potty!

I can't wait to see my room and Mommy can't wait to start the fun decorating process. Mommy and Daddy are pooped right now from all of the moving and now fixing up the important things around the house... props to Daddy-o for going to work all day and coming home to have to complete house projects, he's definitely Super Dad!

What's going on with Mommy? Well, all the books and some friends say her belly button should have popped by now, but it hasn't. Cici said her's never did, so Mommy's may not pop out, either (that means there's no timer on *this* turkey!).
A few things the books were right about...leg cramps (Mommy *hates* that horse, Charlie), a bigger belly (guess everyone around here is getting more living space), and less sleep due to back pain and Mommy having to potty three times during the night!
Once Mommy and Daddy get settled into the house, Mommy will have time (and energy) to put on some makeup so Daddy can take pictures of her and her growing belly! She is finally starting to show enough that people assume she's pregnant, but they are still weary to ask if she's expecting (no one likes to make *that* mistake!).
Mommy's lower back is still hurting. Sleeping on the mattress on the floor during Mommy and Daddy's moving process into the new house did not help with the pain, either! The pain gets pretty bad sometimes, where Mommy can't stand up straight for a while. Mommy copes by throwing ice packs on her back before bedtime and sometimes Daddy is sweet (and awake enough after his long days) and massages her back... Mommy tells me he is amazing, but lately she's been convinced that he truly is the greatest.
The "To-Do" list in Mommy's pregnancy book says it's time for Mommy and Daddy to take a "babymoon." Since they just moved into this amazing house, they will get to take some relaxing breaks out on the patio (I envision the two lovebirds sitting on the outdoor couch, drinking sweet tea and holding hands while watching a funny TV show) between moving and organizing the house.

Moving on to me!
This week I am weighing in at about two pounds! My eyelids are starting to open this week and I have grown in fuller eyelashes by now (so I can bat them at my leading man... DADDY!). My iris (the pretty part of my eye) still doesn't have much pigmentation, it will in the next month or two, though. As many know, when I am born my eye color may not be set in stone... but Mommy and Daddy may be able to tell if my eyes will be brown like Daddy's or hazel/green like Mommy's depending on the color the day I'm born. If they are brown, then they will probably be brown like Daddy's, but if they are blue or grey, they may turn green like Mommy's!
Since my brain has become more developed and sophisticated (my brain waves are kicking in!) I can spot bright lights and where I could only hear noises before, I can now respond to them (my responses are usually with my startled movements and increased heart rate after I hear a loud noise). I can also finally hear Daddy's voice and differentiate his voice from someone else's (whereas before I could really only hear and differentiate Mommy's voice).
This week I have been moving around, practicing movements, and trying to see how these arms and legs work! I'm not moving as jerky because my nervous system has developed enough so I have more control over myself, so Mommy hasn't been feeling me rolling around in my house like she was a few weeks ago. Since I am bigger and have been stretching out and testing out these joints in my arms and legs, Mommy can feel me right under her ribs (I don't think it feels too great).

See you next week!!
