What's going on with Mommy? She had her Dr appointment last week and all of her tests came back normal and her weight, heart rate, and symptoms are all normal. She has been tossing and turning in bed since she is starting to get uncomfortable due to her growing belly. Her back hasn't been hurting as bad the past couple of weeks (knock on wood) which she is loving. Though she is finding herself short of breath every now and then because I am pushing up on her ribs (sorry Mommy!). Mommy is so excited for my arrival, but like any good Mommy, she has her worries and anxiety (only 9 more weeks until my arrival). Hopefully she and Daddy can get away for a relaxing day at the spa before I arrive to help both of them chill out and give them time to enjoy each other before they are consumed with everything, ME!
Mommy has another Dr appointment next week where Mommy will have the Group B Strep Test, not something she's looking forward to, but a necessary evil to make sure I stay healthy after my arrival!
What's going on with me? Well, last week the Dr took some measurements of my head, abdomen, and legs with the sonogram machine and I am about 3 pounds 8 ounces. The Dr said all of my measurements are right on mark for my "age."
My brain is making millions of connections that are helping me process information, track light, and develop all five senses. My iris, the pretty part of my eye, now reacts to light. My legs, arms, and tummy are filling out due to the fat deposits that are forming.
